Lucio Dalla (born in Bologna in 1943) is one of the most popular Italian singer-songwriters. He also plays clarinet and keyboards. He appeared on the Italian music scene in the early 60′s, with a singing style which reminded James Brown’s, with sudden and unpredictable jazz-like variations of the most common musical logic.
