Claudia Mori has not been very active in showbiz in the last 20 years. In September 2009, though, she was one of the judges of the Italian version of the television talent show franchise The X Factor.
Her greatest success as a singer was most likely her huge hit single “Buonasera dottore“, a song that was firstly intended for Mina to perform, (she would have covered it many years later) and instead became a n.1 single for Mori. The song is actually a passionate dialogue over the phone between a married man and his lover. The male voice is by Italian dubber Franco Morgan. “Buonasera dottore” topped the Italian singles chart in the summer of ’74 for three weeks.
