Official videoclip. Antonella Ruggiero (born 1952 in Genoa) was the first and most successful lead singer of the popular group Matia Bazar. Her partnership with the group lasted until 1989. Then, seven years after, in 1996 she made her solo debut, and in 1998, at Sanremo Festival, she came up second with “Amore lontanissimo”, a delicate rhythm’n'blues ballad which also earned the critics’ award for best arrangement. The single was recorded in Spanish as well with the title “Donde estas”.

Lyrics

Da un’ora son seduta qui
pensando che
ti voglio parlare.
E questa via della citta’
certo non e’ il modo ideale.
Passa tanta gente e
se in mezzo ci fossi tu,
se mi passassi accanto,
io ti sentirei.

Amore mio dove sei
non pensi che
io sono qua.
Mi faro’ ancora piu’ piccola
se non sarai qui, con me.
Amore lontanissimo
ma qui, con me
qui con me…

Passa il tempo e
certo ne avrei di cose da fare.
E non m’importa no,
non me ne andro’
ti voglio aspettare.
Intorno a me c’e’ fretta,
l’ennesimo metro’,
io so che no, non mi muovero’.

Amore mio dove sei,
non senti che
io sono qua.
Mi faro’ ancora piu’ piccola
se non sarai qui con me.
Amore lontanissimo
sei qui, con me
qui con me

Amore lontanissimo
se tu fossi qui con me…
con me…
